About me

Whether you’re looking for deep personal healing, you want to create a more enjoyable relationship, or you need some extra support during a difficult time, I offer a nonjudgmental space where I will walk beside you every step of the way as we find a way forward. I believe our past experiences live in our bodies, and I’m interested in how those experiences continue to show up in our lives and our relationships. I enjoy working with people who want to explore new ways of relating to themselves and the people they care about. I support people of all gender identities, sexualities, and relationship structures. I currently work with Project Matter.

My Training

I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and I also have advanced training in Compassionate/Nonviolent Communication (NVC), which I draw on in my work with couples. I hold an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Wisconsin, Stout, and a B.A. from Reed College in Portland, OR. Before becoming a therapist I worked in the arts for fifteen years. I’ve had a personal mindfulness practice for over a decade, which informs how I show up as a therapist, and I often integrate trauma-informed mindfulness practices into my work with clients.

I work with Project Matter as a pre-licensed therapist under the supervision of Bri Dunbar, LMFT. I receive additional clinical supervision from Carolyn Dehnbostel, LMFT, and Terri Karis, LMFT, PhD.
